The last consortium wide meeting was hosted in Nepal, it served as the first time all consortium members were given an opportunity to begin collaborating and share expertise about their work. The second bi-annual meeting was slated to be held in Kenya in March of 2019 but was canceled due to security concerns.

The consortium has not held an in-person meeting for almost a year, therefore this meeting serves as a real opportunity to catch up and update the consortium on achievement and activities of each countries study.

The consortium will meet with national stakeholders from the Guatemalan Ministry of health on the first day of the meeting at the Instituto de Nutricion de Centro America y Panama (INCAP) in Guatemala City. While the remainder of the meeting will be in Antigua Guatemala.

At least two representatives from each member country will be attending the meeting, it is expected that the next meeting will be hosted in Kumasi, Ghana in 2020.
